History:
Jade was born on a meteor from slime jelly and dubious genetics, then thrown onto a smaller meteor and adopted by her Grandpa on planet earth. He raised her through her toddler years, but due to some tragic inter-dimensional misunderstandings, he was killed when she was a young girl. After that, Jade's only companion on the island was her dog Bec, who did a better job of raising her than most dogs due to the fact that he had omnipotent god dog powers and could teleport her out of danger.

Despite being on an island with nobody else around, Jade still had access to the Internet; through the Internet she made three close friends: John, Rose, and Dave. In the meantime, she also had dreams on Prospit, which allowed her to foresee things that would happen in the future. In her dreams, she also saw her friend John in person, but he was always asleep. She was eager for the day he'd wake up so that she could show him all of her favorite spots in Prospit together.

When John turned thirteen, the four of them began to play a game together that would end the world. During this process, Jade's dream self died in order to save John's, severing her connection to Prospit in the process. While Jade was working to enter the game, Jade's dog merged with a game construct to become her sprite, which also wound up creating a near unkillable boss that had all of the omnipotent god powers of Bec.

In an effort to turn things around, Jade prototyped the corpse of her dream self with the sprite as well, figuring that a version of herself who had access to Bec's abilities could be really helpful. Instead, she was faced with a version of herself so overwhelmed by her revival that she refused to help her friends... at which point Jade turned against her alternate self and began to yell at her and berate her for being so useless.

Later in the session, it became clear that they would need to leave their version of the game and enter into the game of a different set of players from a "scratched" timeline. Jade did everything needed to light the forge and get ready to go... but she was killed right as the vital moment was about to occur. This lead to her getting revived on her quest bed, a process that involves the dead character coming to inhabit their dream self with new and improved abilities. This means that when Jade ascended to god tier, she took over the sprite body from her dream self, meaning she also inherited Bec's dog traits (such as ears and a tail and some doggy instincts) as well as some of his omnipotent powers.

With these powers, she was able to collect everything from their session, including John and Davesprite, and get onto a golden ship that she powered through an inter-dimensional portal to get to the post-scratch session of the game and hopefully win. The journey would take three years, and during that time they would be unable to talk to their other friends or the trolls that had been communicating with them throughout their game.

Unfortunately for Jade, early on in the trip, a freak accident spurred by inter-dimensional bullshit lead to John and Davesprite dying, leaving Jade alone once again. Her only companions on the trip were the two sprites from her other friends - John's grandmother and Rose's cat - and the numerous game constructs she had brought with her. This lead to her falling into a depressive state for the rest of the journey, as she could only wait to make it to the new session without any of her friends at her side.

Personality:

Pros:

Friendly. Jade is friendly and positive to most of the people that she talks to (assuming that they don't come at her too aggressively.) She's happy to make friends with others, and generally just wants folks to get along. She also deeply cares about her friends and will do just about anything to help them - if you have Jade on your side, you have a stalwart ally.

Goofy. Jade can be quite playful! She likes using a lot of emoticons, makes puns, and loves stuffed animals. She likes bright colors and clothes that make her look like a princess. She likes to have fun, and she is not ashamed of it!

Genuine. Jade is normally very upfront with how she feels about others, and she is not the kind of girl to play mind games. If she likes you, you will know! If she does not like you, you will definitely know! She can occasionally be cagey about her own feelings, especially when she is concerned they could be a burden to somebody else, but otherwise she is something of an open book.

Capable. For all of her goofiness and friendliness, Jade is a very intelligent young woman who is also very self-sufficient, as she had to raise herself for much of her adolescence. She has a solid understanding of botany, science, technology, and firearms and is passionate about those topics, but she's also ready to learn about others!

Cons:

Lonely. Jade's primary source of interactions for the first thirteen years of her life were through her dog or the internet... and then after that, she was stuck on a ship where her closest thing to human contact was a sprite of her friend's grandmother that had been merged with a jester. She misses her friends, and it's hard not to be kind of melancholy about that at times or let it impact her.

Weird. Jade was raised by a dog and a grandfather of eccentric tastes. Given that, she came out surprisingly normal, but there are still some things that she doesn't necessarily realize aren't normal, such as subjecting your loved one's bodies to taxidermy after they're dead.

Self-sacrificing. While Jade is often kind to others, she is not always as kind to herself. She often puts the needs of others above herself, and most of her external motivation is in making sure that she can be useful for her friends rather than any self-fulfillment. To Jade, the biggest crime of her dreamself was refusing to be helpful, and when she initially started the trip on the golden ship, she even gave John the option of traveling with their friends, which would have left her alone. As long as her friends are happy and the mission is successful, Jade will let her own needs fall to the wayside, even if it makes her miserable.

Aggressive. Though it's not that common, Jade can become quite nasty when she gets pissed off or frustrated. She's prone to swearing and shouting and sometimes even getting physical, such as when she started to physically shake Jadesprite back and forth out of anger. This mode can also just be activated by some dog instincts. Sorry cats and cat-adjacent creatures, she will bark at you and chase you.

Inventory: Jade is arriving with a pair of glasses and her god tier pajamas.

Powers/Abilities: Jade has incredible powers of space manipulation, allowing her to teleport, expand, and shrink objects at incredible scale. (ie. shrinking a planet to fit in the palm of her hand.) All of that will basically be totally gone, though she'll still have a better sense of direction than the average person.

She would have also had some dog capabilities inherited from Bec, but her canine sense of smell would be dampened. The only technically "super human" ability she might retain would be the ability to move her ears, which would allow her to focus in on what she's listening to - it would amplify her hearing only as much as somebody could by cupping a hand around their ear, and otherwise her hearing would be at normal human levels.
